TEDIS Ukraine CEO Taras Korniyachenko on the important role of a distributor at RAU EXPO-2021
General Director of TEDIS Ukraine Taras Korniyachenko spoke at the panel discussion “Networks & Suppliers” at the RAU EXPO-2021 exhibition, which took place on June 16-17 in Kiev at the NSC Olimpiyskiy.
Speaking about the impact of the lockdown on retail trade, the General Director of TEDIS Ukraine noted: “Indeed, there are sales channels that have suffered the most. If we take big cities, then these are mainly bus stops. The imposed restrictions on movement by public transport affected pedestrian traffic and, accordingly, negatively affected sales at such points. After the quarantine has been relaxed, retail is returning to its usual work, because it is convenient for a person to buy goods where he is used to ”.
According to Taras Korniyachenko, an important role of a distributor is to efficiently serve traditional retail: “This means providing our service that will help retail outlets earn stable and regular income. In this case, the goods come to them “at the door”, regularly, with a clear order without any deviations. Accordingly, the entrepreneur does not worry about where to get the goods tomorrow. Therefore, as a distributor, we work, I’m not afraid of this big word, to support traditional retail. ”
The panel discussion was moderated by Evgeniy Shevchenko, General Director of Carlsberg Ukraine. In addition to Taras Korniyachenko, Denis Golubchikov, General Director of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health Products Division in Ukraine, and Aleksey Panasenko, General Director of Billa / COO of NOVUS, took part in it.
The organizer of RAU EXPO-2021 was the Association of Retailers of Ukraine.
