Sustainable development

For TEDIS Ukraine, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility are important along with key financial indicators. This approach helps business to maintain stability and consistency, as well as to develop effectively throughout the history of TEDIS Ukraine.

The company is a permanent participant of the Let’s Make Ukraine Clean initiative, which takes place as part of the World Cleanup Day. This is one of the largest social movements of our time, which supports 180 countries of the world to preserve the purity of the planet. The action brings together over 20 million people.

An important part of the ecological lifestyle of TEDIS Ukraine employees is a responsible approach to waste sorting. Since 2019, the company has been implementing the project “Start with yourself. Sort it! ” A training lecture was held for the employees, and containers for plastic, paper and residual waste were installed in the office premises.

In 2020, TEDIS Ukraine made its contribution to helping society in the fight against the coronavirus infection Covid-19. In 38 hospitals across the country, the company has donated more than 100 thousand sets of masks and gloves, as well as almost 2.5 thousand “doctor’s kits”, which included an FPP3 mask, shoe covers, and glasses. The total cost of the acquired was UAH 3 million.

In 2021, TEDIS Ukraine entered the TOP-25 rating of leaders in sustainable development in Ukraine.

The All-Ukrainian project to support state nursing homes “Tvorimo Dobro” covers seven regions, including Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Sumy and Donetsk. More than a thousand residents under the age of 102 live in the geriatric institutions that are included in the project perimeter.

The “Tvorimo Dobro” Project is being implemented in accordance with the Global Sustainable Development Goals 2015-2030, defined by the United Nations (UN), among which, in particular, “Overcome Poverty” (Goal 1) and “Good Health” (Goal 3). These areas are relevant for the elderly and especially those who are left without family support and live in special social institutions.
In 2021, the company donated food kits, special hygiene kits and individual antique kits to geriatric establishments.

Among the key volunteering initiatives: Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, International Children’s Day, Day of the Elderly, Animal Protection Day, cooperation with the Pillochki charitable foundation and much more.

(UA) Співробітники-волонтери допомагали і допомагають дитячим будинкам-інтернатам і дітям з онкологічними захворюваннями, забезпечують допомогу ветеранам, людям похилого віку в усіх регіонах України, де знаходяться наші регіональні структурні підрозділи. Дуже часто до волонтерських ініціатив приєднуються і члени сімей співробітників.

Одна з традицій, що склалася під час корпоративного волонтерства компанії – щорічний благодійний аукціон до Дня пам’яті та примирення, в рамках якого співробітники представляють лоти, зроблені власними руками. Гроші, виручені з їх продажу, йдуть на закупівлю необхідного (продукти, ліки, одяг) для ветеранів та людей похилого віку в усіх регіонах.

В умовах карантину через коронавірусну інфекцію Covid-19 керівництво компанії заохочує своїх співробітників до будь-якої допомоги нужденним. Найпоширеніший приклад такої допомоги – оплата продуктових кошиків літнім людям, у яких немає додаткових джерел доходу.

І таких прикладів милосердя і турботи, а також різних ініціатив компанії для заохочення волонтерства та благодійництва безліч.
